Rogue Partner Creator Spotlight: OctoxButter!
Q: For those who might not know you, can you share your online name and talk a bit about the type of content you create?
A: Hey Howdy Hey! My Name is Octo (she/her), but my username is OctoxButter so feel free to also call me Butter! My content typically involves playing FPS such as Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals, but I do consider myself a Variety Streamer as I also play games such as Stardew Valley, Palworld, Dead by Daylight, and more. My main focus during streams is creating a positive environment with a touch of chaos! Chat always takes priority over the game, so if I seem distracted, I probably am!
Q: How long have you been a content creator?
A: I started streaming in 2021, but did not take it seriously until I decided to switch to being a Vtuber in February 2024, which is when content creation became more consistent for me!
Q: What do you like most about the games you play or being a content creator?
A: The best part of being a content creator, for me, is being able to express myself in a whole different way. I put a lot of work into creating a positive atmosphere, and making chaotic channel point redeems and commands for my chat to use and interact with on Twitch. Being able to have and grow a community that helps each other grow in a variety of ways, brings me so much joy! Playing games is just a bonus in comparison to that!
Q: What has been your biggest milestone or most memorable moment as a content creator?
A: My biggest milestone to date has been my 2.0 vtuber debut. Being able to create my own image for myself in vtuber form was the most stressful but exciting thing I have done! Not only did my 2.0 debut feature a new model but it also was a 2k follower celebration! Having the love and support of my community around me for such an amazing moment could not have made me more proud with my choice to become a content creator!
Q: What’s something fun about yourself that you would like to share with Rogue Nation?
A: Before becoming a Vtuber, I used to use my Human form to do streams! It was an amazing time for my occasional stream. However, once I dyed my hair Green, my Green Screen wouldn't work anymore. At that point, I drew myself a pngtuber that I used for my random streams before buying a premade vtuber model! Having the experience of all different types of streaming, has really brought so much knowledge on how different programs work with different situations. Learning each and every method has been an amazing journey, and I try to use my knowledge to help others that may need help when starting out!
Q: What’s a piece of advice you would give to other creators just starting their journey?
A: You have to get started. I know it can be scary; there is a lot to learn, a lot to work on, a lot of space to grow, but that makes it all worth it. Keep your goals small. For Twitch, keep follower goals small, keep your view count *off* while you are streaming, numbers don't equal your value. Success does not always happen over night, so take your time to enjoy the small victories.
Q: How long have you been a Rogue Partner and what are your favorite Rogue products?
A: My Rogue Energy Partnership Started in July of 2024! My Favorite products to date are Tiger's Blood, Dragon Fruit Mango, and Strawberry Hibiscus for flavors, and I use my Darlinsincerest Creator Shaker or my Unicorn mini shaker depending on my day!
